Description
The story revolves around rivalry between two princes. One viciously plots to kill his brother to dethrone him. The rivalry is centered on a royal spear that disappeared with an elephant in the jungle. Without this spear no prince can inherit the kingship. The search for this treasured spear takes the elder prince through terrible and deadly ordeals in the jungle almost costing his death. He retrieves the spear from the midst of elephants but, the elephants kills the sons of the prince and the kingdom collapses due to the bitter blood between the brothers.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Simon Wangulu Khayongo was born in Western part of Kenya in a family of five sons and four sisters, growing up and schooling both in the village and Nairobi city. He travelled to Europe, Middle East and Asia and studied radio journalism in Lambeth College, London and did Business studies at London Metropolitan University UK. He has scripted drama, advertisements and programs for both radio and television since 1997. He also contributed articles that have been published in the Sunday Nation (Young Nation segment), a leading East Africa news paper.
Currently he is working for Hettich, India branch as the country manager for Kenya. He is married and has children.
