Description

It is commonly known that Solomon succeeded King David. What is not common knowledge is that this succession came off a near successful palace coup. The Bible testifies that all these events happened within one day (1Kings 1:30). The revelation of this book is that, Solomon’s enthronement took less than 5 hours. This book studies the conditions that led Joab and Abiathar to betray their king while others like Nathan and Benaiah remained faithful to the king. That the last coup attempt on King David is described as the first palace coup in Israel is another revelation in the book. This book provides vital lessons for institutional leaders and workers, especially in the Christian fraternity. The honour of this work goes to the Holy Spirit for such great revelation.
