Shomshuklla does experimental plays, influenced by international plays across the world. Her presentations are unique and her theme are always excellent. She uses vibrant colors to express her art. We Draupadi’s and Sitas And Other Plays is a collection of 11 outstanding plays enacted under her direction. All of these plays have been critically acclaimed in India and abroad. 

About Author

Shomshuklla is a consummate creative person – A poet, columnist, singer, film director, and playwright. She writes and directs plays in English under the banner of her theatre group Kali. She grew up in Kolkata, immersed in the culture and essence of that city. She now lives in Mumbai with her family.
