About Author
Dr Bukata B. Bukar is a registered Pharmacist and, an Associate Professor (Reader) of Pharmacology and the immediate past Head of Department, Pharmacology and Toxicology. He is currently the Deputy Dean, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Jos, Jos, Plateau state, Nigeria. He has over two decades of cognate experience in teaching Pharmacology to medical, pharmacy and other health sciences students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has published several articles in pharmacology and related fields in both local and international peer-reviewed academic Journals. He is the author of the book “Essentials of Receptor Pharmacology”, published in February, 2019 by the University Press PLC, Ibadan, Oyo state, Nigeria.
Dr Bukata B. Bukar was born in Gwarangah village, Bogoro LGA, in the southern part of Bauchi state. He has had the opportunity of being appointed to several academic and non-academic positions, including that of an Honorable Commissioner in different Ministries in his state, for a period of 8 years. He is happily married with four children.
