This thesis makes significant contributions to promotion of entrepreneurship among the Indian youth. To ensure that a greater number of graduating students embark on venture creation, it is important to understand what drives them or poses a barrier to their entrepreneurial aspirations. This thesis presents a comprehensive picture of all the cognitive, social and control factors that influence entrepreneurial intentions of the graduating students in India.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
In her long tenure in academics spanning nearly 30 years, Dr K Satya Lakshmi has spent a lot of time with the millennials and has always been fascinated by their attitude, outlook, and confidence. Thus, when it came to the selection of a demographic for her doctoral research, the millennials and their entrepreneurial intentions were an immediate choice. The author was awarded Ph D for her thesis on the entrepreneurial intentions of the Indian millennials by the ICFAI University of Jharkhand, Ranchi. The author is affiliated with ICFAI Federation for Higher Education (IFHE) in the field of online and distance learning education. The author lives and works in Hyderabad, India. A voracious reader, Satyalakshmi prefers to read biographies. She loves music, travelling and is passionate about Mandala Art.
