This book traces the history of Mankind from the first day on earth through generations, from pre-colonial to colonial times, and further on to the era of Africa’s independence. We learn how Africa lost its prestige following industrialization in Europe, which made African people’s life to be a hell on earth. Then there were the early post-colonial times, which were equally tough for citizens, but after which signs of a better tomorrow have been showing up.

About Author

Abisai Temba is an “Economist” by profession and has served in the Tanzanian public sector in a senior position. He retired from the public sector and continued as a “Freelance consultant for both the local and international clients.

In his professional career, he has authored many articles and has been a resource person to many local and international audiences. So far, he has authored a number of books, some of which are already published, and several others are on the line for publication. His focus has always been on the areas of policy formulation and programme implementation plans, including financial analysis matters. In his consultancy work, he, among other things, engaged in specific policy research and program formulation, including implementation and monitoring evaluations.
