It is a truism that man is a sexual being. Nonetheless, sexuality has been abused to a level that becomes alarmingly uncontrollable. This phenomenon is that which encapsulates in the dramatization of this piece.Osmosis captures a rather unfortunate but real story of Onome, who soaked in the immorality of incest, turns to his daughters as a comfortable outlet to cure his natural demand. Alero, Onome’s wife, a product of such unwholesome union between her mother and Grandfather, eventually discovers her husband’s evil architecture, and thus, the truth is set to unfold as Nemesis sets in.

Iyua Williams Iorakpen is a Nigeria based author. He wrote and produced several plays. A multitalented individual, Iorakpen is an excellent actor,drama director and gifted playwright, whose literary efforts have produced an array of literary children. His published works include: ‘Echoes of the Heart’ (a play; which turned out to be the first literary text written on the Kanuri culture of Borno); ‘Still in the Void’ (a play), ‘And So It Came to Pass’ (a biographical play on his mother); ‘Osmosis’ (a play) and ‘Waiting and Laying Blames’ (Poetry). He is also a prolific poet and some of his poems have been published and reviewed in anthologies in literary circles.
