About Author
Ian Kimotho is a 30-year-old psychologist, lecturer, and author. He began his education at St. Teresa’s Primary School before transferring to St. Martin’s Primary School. During his time at Kiaguthu Boys’ Secondary School, he faced intense bullying and was labeled “boring” by his classmates, enduring significant personal struggles.
He later enrolled at J.K.U.A.T. to study Financial Engineering but remained in his first year for six years, during which he turned to substance abuse. He narrowly survived a mob justice incident that nearly cost him his life. In pursuit of redemption, he joined Dove International Wellness Center for rehabilitation. After completing the program, he went on to study addiction counseling.
