It attempts to break popular myths on happiness, clarify why happiness at work should be prioritized over employee engagement or satisfaction, establish empirical evidence of its influence on employee outcomes, identify HR practices that play a key role in creating happy and productive workplaces, and recommend a robust workplace happiness model that can be leveraged by companies to increase the happiness quotient in their companies.

Dr. Ajay Bhatia is an accomplished management professional with overall 32+ years of experience, including 28+ years of rich corporate experience in diverse leadership positions across several renowned multinational companies, and last 4 years in Academics. He holds a degree in law, post-graduation degree in Statistics and doctorate degree in Management. He is also a certified OD Analyst, and Certified Appreciative Coach & Counsellor.
