About Author
Prasanta Basu Roy, born on March 8, 1946, dedicated 36 years of service to the Ordnance Factory of India, retiring as a technical Foreman in 2001 from Ordnance Factory Bhandara, Maharashtra, though his official retirement came in 2006. A passionate contract Bridge player since 1972, he boasts a remarkable record, participating in sixteen Winter Open Bridge National Championships and representing the Ordnance Factory of India thrice at the national level. Married in 1979, he and his wife have a son who has been working as an IT Engineer in San Francisco, USA, for the past 12 years.
