He has practiced public health in the public sector, particularly the Kenyan government Ministry of Health, for over 30 years. He has also taught in Universities, especially Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and the Technical University of Kenya, for over six years. He is currently a Lecturer at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa. He has researched and published several papers in referred Journals and reviewed several papers for publication. In addition, he has a keen interest and passion in research for improving public health and safety as well as health care.

Dr. Malusha is a registered public health practitioner in Kenya and a member of the Association of Public Health Officers in Kenya. He has published several research papers in peer-reviewed journals and reviewed various manuscripts for publication in refereed journals.
