You are quite correct to note that publishing a book is just the beginning of the entire career. And to letting the written word out requires a strong fight by the way for us who are somehow old but new to the marketing process. Like the case of my book published–While We Were Together, I try engaging my community dwellers with their children, as we are forming reading clubs and about to have our first book workshops to motivate young students from high schools. Almost their parents of these students expressed a great deal of interest in making sure that their children buy copies of the book while same time to be part of book activities soon to kickup with. Our book activities will include, going for ice cream event, street parades, radio talk show, book competitions and discussion forums at community levels, which we are giving out cash prices and promotional materials to readers, etc. We are about establishing a whatz up page for our readers, meant to keeping them connected, informed of new events, opportunities to take advantage of, and our book sales commission strategy that is being introduced for readers to earn some incomes. We will give our mini awards to book readers during each of our event. There are many others we expect that would drive book sales in line with your article we would like to engage with as well. Thanks.
